Over the years, many tornado myths have been proven false during outbreaks or through research, but some still remain in our society, shared by the masses even when they're incorrect.
The American Red Cross wants you to prepare for tornado season now, and the image above shares a few tornado myths that are still prevalent today. Be sure to read them over and understand why they're false, so the next time you hear someone proclaim one as fact, you can correct them and give potentially life-saving information.
