Despite some colder weather through midweek in Pittsburgh, the city will experience another warmup late in the week.
After temperatures neared freezing and a bit of snow on Tuesday, temperatures will begin to rise on Wednesday. It will still remain chilly around the city during the morning hours, but the mercury will increase during the day bringing daytime highs to the upper 40s.

A drastic jump in temperature will occur on Thursday with temperatures spiking up to the 60 F mark, accompanied by sunny skies. This change in weather will come right in time for the Pittsburgh Pirates four-day series against the Milwaukee Brewers at PNC Park Thursday through Sunday.
The weather will remain mild through Friday; however, a few rain showers on Friday night could dampen the game in PNC Park.
Despite warming weather, overnight temperatures for the entirety of the week will remain consistently in the 30s and 40s. Those outdoors during the late evening hours should dress properly.
