As quick as temperatures plunged in Pittsburgh, milder air will return.
A drastic jump in temperature will occur on Thursday with temperatures spiking into the lower 60s, accompanied by sunny skies.
This change in weather will come right in time for the Pittsburgh Pirates four-day series against the Milwaukee Brewers at PNC Park Thursday through Sunday.
The weather will remain mild through Friday; however, a few rain showers on Friday night could dampen the game in PNC Park.

Dry weather will return for Easter weekend as mild weather holds, allowing Easter egg hunts and other festivities to go on as scheduled.
Sunday will be the warmest of the two days of the weekend with highs in the middle 60s expected.

While mild afternoons are in the forecast this weekend, residents and visitors will still need their jackets for Easter sunrise services. Temperatures Sunday morning are expected to dip to the 30s.
