NYC Warmup to be Erased by Midweek

A cooldown at midweek will erase the warmup expected for New York City Monday and Tuesday.
After the Easter weekend ended on a cooler note, milder air will once again pour across the New York City area on Monday and boost temperatures into the middle 60s.
A good deal of sunshine will compliment the rise in temperatures and create another great day to get outdoors.
Air flowing in from the cold ocean, however, will keep south-facing coastal communities cooler.

Further warming will occur on Tuesday ahead of a cold front, boosting temperatures into the upper 60s.
The warmth will not last long as the cold front sweeps a shower or two through late Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will then take a tumble in the front's wake, leading to highs of around 60 F on Wednesday. A brisk wind will create even lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.

As quick as the cooler air arrives, it will depart and give way to a rebound in temperatures late in the week.
