Los Angeles: Cooler Weather Ahead Late Week

April 9,2014; 9:18PM,EDT

Los Angeles area residents can expect higher-than-normal temperatures to continue through Thursday as temperatures will remain in the low to mid-80s.
Closer-to-normal conditions are on the way for the weekend; however, temperatures are expected to dip back into the 70s beginning Friday with low clouds breaking for some sun on Friday and Saturday.

The cooler weather should promote pleasant viewing conditions for baseball. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will host the New York Mets for a weekend series. Fans attending the Friday and Saturday night games, scheduled for 7:05 p.m. PDT and 6:05 p.m. PDT, respectively, may want to consider bringing a jacket as temperatures will drop into the mid-50s in the evening.
