DC: No Signs of Breakaway Warmth Just Yet

The weather pattern through this weekend will bring temperatures fairly typical for this time of the year around Washington, D.C.
Temperatures typically range from a morning low near 50 F to a high near 70 F.
The pattern will feature a couple of days of cool weather and warm weather here and there.
The coolest day of the bunch will be Wednesday, in the wake of a front bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region.

The next chance of rainfall is Friday into Saturday, as a system moves in from the Midwest. However, while there can be a couple of showers either day for outdoor activities, including Nationals and Orioles baseball, neither of the two days will be a washout. Temperatures both days are projected to reach well into the 70s.

Looking ahead, for folks with outdoor plans next week, the weather pattern has the potential to get very unsettled with a daily dose of showers and thunderstorms.
A day or two of rain is also possible as a large storm develops over the eastern third of the nation and stalls. The pattern may also result in a several-day stretch of below-normal temperatures.
It may not be until this large storm breaks down during early May when warmth will be a frequent visitor to the region.
