Boston: Warm Stretch of Days to Continue Into Monday

The warm weather pattern in Boston will peak on Monday but will feature several days of ideal outdoor conditions.
Highs will be within a few degrees of 60 F through Sunday and should feel good to many people after a winter where temperatures averaged several degrees below normal.
A shower or two is possible during the day Friday.
The best chance of several hours of steady rain is Friday night into the first thing Saturday morning as a wave of low pressure passes just south of the area along the frontal boundary.

The balance of the weekend looks to be free of rain, including for Boston College spring football. Other events of note this weekend include the Spring Beer Festival and International Film Festival at Boston Common, as well as the Game Convention at the Convention and Exhibition Center and the Harmony Music Contest at Tufts University.
A balmy breeze is forecast on Monday with enough sunshine to drive temperatures into the 70s. Monday will be the warmest day since early November or October.

It's days like today where I really question why I root for things like cold, snow and ice.
