After taking a tumble Easter Sunday, temperatures will quickly rebound in Boston for Patriots' Day.
The return of air flowing in from the cold ocean caused Easter weekend to end on a cooler note.
As the wind direction shifts, the door will open for milder air to pour in on Monday and boost temperatures to near 65 F. Sunshine will win out over clouds.
The weather will be perfect for Patriots' Day festivities, including the Boston Marathon.
Further warming will occur on Tuesday ahead of a cold front, boosting temperatures into the middle to upper 60s.

The warmth will not last long as the cold front sweeps a shower or two through Tuesday evening. While the game between the city's Red Sox and New York Yankees at Fenway Park should start on a dry note, showers may arrive before the last out.
Temperatures will then take a tumble in the front's wake, leading to highs in the 50s on Wednesday. A brisk wind will create even lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.
