Warm, dry weather will be ahead of an approaching storm system this weekend across the Atlanta area.
"This weekend looks quite nice," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Erik Pindrock said. "Temperatures will be close to 80 throughout the weekend and the humidity should stay relatively low."

Temperatures will remain about 5 degrees above normal until next week when a cold front moves in.
"By Monday, there will be a storm system moving into the area," he said. "There will be a couple of showers and thunderstorms."
Showers and storms will be more widespread Monday morning but become more numerous during the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will slide into the low 60s Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rain will persist in the area through Tuesday morning.
Another round of rain is possible Friday night with a high about 70 degrees F.
