Warm weather will continue around the Cleveland area through the weekend, ahead of drenching rain and gusty storms.
A zone of high pressure will continue to hover along the Atlantic Seaboard, creating a southerly flow of warm air most days. High temperatures will be within a few degrees of 80 through Sunday. Nighttime lows will be in the 60s.
The pattern will not be free of rainfall, however.
A weak system will produce spotty showers and thunderstorms around the eastern Great Lakes through Saturday.

A cold front is forecast to swing across the region Sunday and Sunday night with more general showers and thunderstorms.

The frontal system will bring the risk of severe weather to areas farther west Friday into Saturday and could bring locally gusty storms and blinding downpours to northern Ohio spanning Sunday into Morning.
Until then, temperatures will continue to average well above normal.
