Players to Battle the Cold for Game 2 of the World Series

Cold weather arrived in Boston right in time for the start to the 2013 World Series and is here to stay for the remainder of the series.
Fans weathered the chilly temperatures and rain for Game One of the series, as the city's beloved Red Sox hosted the St. Louis Cardinals.
For game 2 on Thursday, temperatures will be slightly warmer in the mid-40s.

The teams' pitchers will again battle brisk temperatures along with a slight breeze for their pre-game warmups as temperatures for the first pitch at 8:07 p.m. EDT are forecasted to be approximately 48 degrees.
While this game will not be the coldest World Series game in history, as Game Four of the 1997 World Series featuring the Florida Marlins and Cleveland Indians holds that record, it could take the number three spot.
