A far-reaching blast of cool air has Atlanta in its sights in the upcoming days.
Cool air set to plunge across the eastern half of the United States will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures in Atlanta.
Temperatures on Wednesday will be held to near 65 degrees. The cool air will not be quick to depart with highs in the 60s to follow for the remainder of the week. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 40s.
Highs in the lower 70s and lows in the lower 50s are more common in Atlanta this time of year.
