Tina Weakens to a Remnant Low While Moving Away From Mexico

Tina weakened to a remnant low Monday evening well off the west coast of Mexico. The system will continue moving west away from land.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tina was located about 360 miles west of Manzanillo, Mexico, as of Monday evening.
  • Further weakening is expected to continue, and the remnant low is forecast to dissipate by late Tuesday.
  • Tina originally formed as a tropical storm Sunday night near the Mexico coastline where it produced heavy rainfall.
