After a storm system brought much-needed rain to the Bay Area on Tuesday, showers are likely to continue for the next several days.
Plenty of moisture will continue to stream into the San Francisco Bay area into Wednesday with more drenching rain in store, said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson.
According to Erickson, another inch is possible on top of what has already fallen.

Daytime highs will stay in the mid-60s over the next several days. A normal high temperature for this time of year in the Bay Area is in the upper 50s.
Through 11 a.m. PDT Tuesday, rainfall measured 1.40 inches at San Francisco International Airport with a light rain still falling. Last December, San Francisco had only 0.35 of an inch and the average monthly rainfall is 4.03 inches, according to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Jim Andrews.
