As holiday travelers head home from the greater Chicago area, conditions will feel colder with the chance of some showers over the weekend.
Those with area flights could face delays on Saturday, according to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Ben Noll.
To keep an eye on any travel impacts, track rain down to your precise location with MinuteCast® if headed out on the roads or to catch a flight home.
By Sunday, air travel should not face any precipitation or wind hazards. Temperatures will see a drop, however.
"It will be noticeably colder on Sunday," Noll said.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-30s, hovering near the normal daytime high for this time of year. However, the milder temperatures during the holidays will make the return of colder air feel more intense.
As the next week begins, skies should remain dry through midweek when the chance for another round of snow returns.
