Philly: Cold Air to Remain This Weekend and Beyond

Waves of cold air will continue to invade the Philadelphia area this weekend and next week and will bring a opportunity or two for snow.
In the wake of spotty, cold rain and wet snow in parts of the Northeast Thursday night, much of this weekend will be dry around the Philadelphia area.
The weather will be cold enough to require winter clothing for many people and to allow some ski resorts in the Poconos and other locations to make snow in preparation for Thanksgiving.

Temperatures will periodically drop to the freezing mark around the city at night. AccuWeather.com RealFeel® Temperatures spend time in the 30s F during the daylight hours. Actual highs will be in the 40s this weekend.
After a cross-country January-like storm affects the Rockies and Central States this weekend, there is a chance that rain mixes with or changes to wet snow before ending in part of the area Monday evening. Otherwise, rain is in the offing Sunday night into Monday, ahead of a reinforcing push of colder air that will shave another 5 to 10 degrees off daytime temperatures next week.
