Atlanta is in store for a sunny, dry weekend with cooler air settling into the region.
Temperatures will begin to drop following thunderstorms on Friday evening.
Saturday will see a dramatic drop in temperatures, falling into the low 60s. Skies will remain dry, however, with plenty of unobstructed sunshine.

Fans headed to Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday to catch the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on the Miami Hurricanes should have chilly conditions for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff and any tailgating festivities before the game.
Winds could also be a factor with sustained winds up to 14 mph and some strong gusts as high as 32 mph during the day. Tailgaters should secure any tents or decorations before heading into the stadium.
By kickoff, AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures will be in the low 50s and continue to drop into the 40s before the game is over.
Sunday will bring slightly warmer weather as highs are expected to rise into the low 70s.

Winds will also subside making for a calm, sunny day. Anyone looking to take advantage of the fall season with local farmer's markets or festivals around the area should see ideal weather.
By Monday morning's commute, temperatures will already be rising into the 70s before hitting near the 75 F mark for the daytime high.
A pop-up thunderstorm could occur Tuesday before temperatures start to rise at midweek.
