Four World Cup matches are set for Tuesday across Brazil and heat is likely to be a factor in several of them.
The early match in Natal between Italy and Uruguay will force competitors to battle a nasty combination of heat and humidity as well as the opposing team. Accuweather RealFeel® temperatures will climb into the lower 90s F (32-34 C) during the match which could force officials to allow a water break for the players.
While there can be a couple of showers in Natal throughout the day, the heat and humidity is expected to be a bigger factor.

Heat will also be a concern for the match in Fortaleza between Greece and Ivory Coast as well as the match in Cuiaba between Japan and Colombia.
Conditions in Fortaleza will be similar to that of Natal as athletes from both Greece and Ivory Coast will have to battle heat and humidity with Accuweather RealFeel® temperatures near 90 F (32 C).

The hottest temperature during a World Cup match thus far this year could take place on Tuesday in Cuiaba. The temperature at the start of the match is expected to be 88 F (31 C). Humidity will not be as great of a factor in this match and temperatures are drop to near 80 F (27 C) by the end of the match.
The other match of the day will take place in Belo Horizonte, between Costa Rica and England. Weather is not expected to be a factor as sunshine and seasonable temperatures prevail.
