Unsettled weather will close out the weekend in Detroit.
Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies with a shower or thunderstorm around in the afternoon. Areas to the south of the city will have a chance for steadier showers.
As the new week begins, conditions will improve with partly sunny skies and highs approaching 80 F on Monday.
Tuesday will also have pleasant conditions with sunshine giving way to clouds and highs again nearing 80 F. A thunderstorm is possible in the late evening hours.

By Wednesday, the wet weather will return with periods of rain and a thunderstorm possible throughout the day and into the evening hours.
Thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday and Friday with highs moving into the low 80s both days.
