Pittsburgh: Weekend to End on a Stormy Note

Saturday was definitely the nicer of the two weekend days with thunderstorms in the forecast for Sunday.
Sunday morning will be the better time for outdoor plans around the Pittsburgh area for the second half of the weekend.
Sunday afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will begin to rumble and cause those plans to be moved indoors or delayed.
This includes the game between the Pirates and the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday afternoon at PNC Park.

There is concern for a few of the thunderstorms to become heavy and gusty. Incidents of small hail cannot be ruled out.
Even less-intense thunderstorms should not be taken lightly. Remember, you are close enough to be struck by lighting if you hear thunder.
AccuWeather.com MinuteCast™ has the minute-by-minute forecast for your exact location when showers and thunderstorms threaten. Type your city name, select MinuteCast™, and input your street address. On mobile, you can also use your GPS location.
Setting the stage for Sunday's afternoon thunderstorms is the warm and more humid air that will boost temperatures to the upper 70s. A quick drop in temperatures will occur as any thunderstorm passes through.
