Flooding caused by torrential rainfall in central Vietnam has left at least 15 dead and another six missing, according to government officials.
The latest deaths come just a month after flooding left the Southeast Asia country reeling. The flooding in early October killed at least 31 people and inundated more than 100,000 homes, reports the Associated Press.
This week thousands were evacuated as more than 41,000 homes were left inundated in 12 provinces, according to a statement by the Central Steering Committee for Disasters Prevention and Control, Reuters reports.

The statement went on to say the floods, which have since receded, damaged the region's infrastructure, agriculture and killed some 40,000 cattle and poultry.
Hundreds of people are killed each year in Vietnam, where flooding is common.
