A magnitude 5.0 earthquake shook Oklahoma on Sunday evening, one of the strongest in the state's history.
The quake occurred at 7:44 p.m. CST near the town of Cushing, Oklahoma, located about 54 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The earthquake was originally a magnitude 5.3, but the USGS revised it to a 5.0 about an hour after it occurred.

Tremors were felt as far away as Kansas City, Missouri and Little Rock, Arkansas, according to the USGS.
There have been reports of damage near the epicenter of the quake, but there have not been any immediate reports of injuries.
