Showery Weather Across the UK on Sunday

June 21,2015; 9:22PM,EDT

An approaching cyclone will bring showery spells across much of the U.K. on Sunday.
This cyclone is expected to move over the northern U.K. This will bring more widespread showery weather across Scotland and northern England while areas further south will see a largely dry day.
While widespread heavy rain is not expected across most of the U.K., some of the showers could be thundery and briefly heavy across Scotland and northern England. Places such as Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh could be at risk to experience these thundery showers.

Temperatures across the United Kingdom will generally range from the low- to middle 10s across Scotland to around 20 C in southern England on Saturday.
A fresh northwesterly wind will be felt across much of Britain during the afternoon. Some coastal areas of western England and Scotland will see moderate wind gusts. In London, despite a largely dry day and temperature highs close to normal, this fresh breeze will make a feel like a cooler day.
More widespread wet weather will return to southern England on Monday with spells of rain from Plymouth to Brighton. Some of this rain will also fall in London, though it will be rather light.
