Detroit-area residents will experience several days of pleasant conditions before stormy weather returns on Thursday.
After a couple days of partly sunny skies and highs near 80 F, the weather will turn unsettled by Thursday as a storm system approaches from the west bringing higher humidity, AccuWeather Meteorologist Carl Erickson said.
"This will also be accompanied by an increased chance for showers and thunderstorms along with cooler temperatures in the lower 70s," Erickson said.
Baseball fans heading to Comerica Park to watch the Tigers play the White Sox may want to bring rain gear for Thursday and Friday's games.

"Temperatures will remain below average Friday and through the weekend as the jet stream dives southward across the eastern half of the nation," Erickson said. "This will also keep the weather unsettled at times with a chance for showers and a thunderstorm, especially on Friday and again on Sunday."
Daytime highs through late week and into the weeked will remain in the low to middle 70s.
