Following dry and comfortable weather, a large rainstorm will move in this weekend, bringing heavy rain and windy conditions for the Boston area.
This rainstorm can bring periods of blinding downpours and enough rain to flood side streets and areas with poor drainage.
The heaviest of the rain is forecast to move in Saturday evening, with continual rainfall through Sunday morning.
Periods of rain can be expected on Sunday as the storm moves off the New England coast.
With this system will come below-average temperatures, in the low to mid-70s F and winds gusting up to 25 mph.
