Temperatures are turning progressively cooler in Atlanta this weekend as dry weather prevails.
Gone this weekend are the highs in the 70s that prevailed Tuesday through Friday.
The arrival of cooler air held temperatures to the upper 60s on Saturday afternoon, It will be in the lower 60s on Sunday.
Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 40s are more common in Atlanta this time of year.
While residents may opt for jackets when heading outside, umbrellas can be left at home as dry weather prevails. Sunday's cool high will occur despite abundant sunshine.

Monday is shaping up to be very similar to Sunday with more sunshine and highs in the lower 60s.
Temperatures will rebound at midweek ahead of the next rainmaker.
