Once again, it won't threaten the Mexican Pacific coast, moving toward the west-northwest in the open waters of the eastern and central Pacific Ocean.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tropical Storm Ivette was located nearly 1,200 miles east of the Hilo, Hawaii, as of Saturday evening.
  • This system is battling both wind shear and dry air so it is now more likely to remain a tropical storm
  • Ivette will  experience increased wind shear and cooler water and will continue to weaken.
  • This system is currently no threat to any land areas.
