- Guillermo weakened to a tropical depression as of late Thursday afternoon (Hawaii time). The center of Guillermo was located about 80 miles northeast of Honolulu, Hawaii.
- All tropical storm and flood watches have long since been dropped.
- Guillermo's center will pass near or north of Oahu and Kauai Friday, eventually degenerating into a remnant low.
- High surf is the primary impact in Hawaii. The National Weather Service has continued high surf advisories for east-facing shores of Oahu and Kaui through Friday evening. High and potentially deadly surf, strong breaking waves, and rip currents are expected.
