An unsettled weather pattern will set up over the Detroit area this week, bringing the chance of showers and thunderstorms on a daily basis.
Typical summer warmth will accompany the unsettled pattern with afternoon highs forecast to reach the middle to upper 80s each day through Thursday.
When humidity and sunshine is factored in, AccuWeather RealFeel®: temperatures are likely to reach into the 90s during the afternoon hours.
According to AccuWeather Meteorologist Brandon Zapolski, a potent are of low pressure will start to move into the area around the middle of the week.
This approaching system could bring some heavier thunderstorms to the Detroit area on Wednesday night and into Thursday.

Settled weather is expected to return to the area late in the week after the aforementioned storm system departs the region.
"By Friday, more refreshing air will be moving in as the chances of showers and thunderstorms diminish," said Zapolska.
