Tropical Storm Kay continues to move away from land in the eastern Pacific and will weaken over the next few days.

- Tropical Storm Kay was located more than 500 miles west of the southern tip of Baja California, as of Monday afternoon.
- Cooler ocean tempeatures and dry air will lead to the demise of Kay within the next few days.
- This system is no direct threat to Baja California, but some elevated surf is possible.
