August 31,2016

Current Storm Information
However, wind shear is affecting the depression, and may keep it from attaining tropical storm intensity. There remains a brief window for intensification on Thursday, but it is more likely to be absorbed or reduced to shower activity by an east coast trough.
Regardless, as the forecast path from the National Hurricane Center shows, this system will whisked away from the East Coast, with no other land mass as a threat.
