Showery Start to Week for Minneapolis

Showers and thunderstorms are set to begin the new week in the Minneapolis area.
The wet weather will move into the region on Monday and persist throughout the day.
Anyone with outdoor activities should closely monitor the weather conditions and seek shelter if thunder is heard.

Monday will be the coolest day of the week with daytime highs in the mid-60s, but the temperature will jump to near 80 for Tuesday.
Temperatures will continue in the 70s through the end of the week under a mix of clouds and sun.
The overnight lows through Thursday will be in the low to mid 50s.
