Pittsburgh: Downpours to Depart by the Weekend

Unsettled weather will continue around Pittsburgh through the middle of the week but a dry weekend follows.
Warm and humid air that moved in recently will be slow to leave, despite an impressive push of cool air farther to the east over the mid-Atlantic.
The risk of locally heavy, gusty thunderstorms will continue Wednesday night, before diminishing to spotty showers on Thursday.

AccuWeather.com MinuteCast™ has the minute-by-minute forecast for your exact location when showers and thunderstorms threaten. Type your city name, select MinuteCast™, and input your street address. On mobile, you can also use your GPS location.
Late in the week the moisture will be squeezed to the south and west as cooler air mixes in from the north and east.
The result will be a reduction in not only shower activity, but also humidity levels that should carry through the coming weekend.
