While Chicago will have warmer weather and severe storms on Wednesday, temperatures will shift closer to normal this weekend.
Temperatures will stay above normal on Thursday with highs in the 80s and breezy conditions with variable clouds.
The Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox will continue their intercity series until Thursday. Temperatures for the 7:10 p.m. CDT game will be in the 70s.
Friday, temperatures will move into the low 70s with a morning thunderstorm possible.
By Saturday, conditions will be fairly nice with temperatures down in the low 60s, and there will be periods of clouds and sun throughout the day.
The weekend conditions look promising for baseball as the White Sox host the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-game series at U.S. Cellular Field.
