While temperatures will moderate through Friday and a big rain event is called off for Saturday, much colder air will sweep later in the weekend on gusty winds for Harrisburg, Pa., and vicinity.
Only spotty showers or a touch of rain is in the offing for Saturday as the first of two pushes of cold air arrive.
After a high in the 50s Friday, temperatures will slide on Saturday as the first push of cold air arrives. Temperatures will be no higher than the 30s Sunday. RealFeel® temperatures will be in the 20s at times Saturday afternoon and Sunday factoring in wind and other conditions.
Speaking of wind, gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible Saturday afternoon into Sunday as the cold air roars in.
As the second push of cold air arrives, a few flurries are possible late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Looking ahead, AccuWeather.com meteorologists continue to track a storm that will affect part of the West into the weekend. During next week, that storm may try to take a northward turn after affecting the South with rain.
Travel disruptions are possible depending on the track of that storm, which may not be just rain everywhere in the East.
