A cold front will move across the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain
West on Sunday, while a separate cold front will extend from Kansas to
Massachusettes.
Wet weather can be expected across the Pacific Northwest and parts of
the Intermountain West on Sunday as a cold front inches over the region.
Rain will spread across Washington, Idaho and parts of Montana, while
snow can be expected in the Cascades and northern Rockies. Heavy snow
will be possible in central Montana as a result of this frontal
boundary. The Southwest and the Great Basin will stay clear of
precipitation on Sunday as a ridge of high pressure builds over the
region. The southern California and Arizona deserts can expect
temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
A more extensive cold frontal boundary will stretch across the central
Plains, the Southeast and along the Eastern Seaboard, although very
spotty precipitation will accompany this system. Light snow will be
possible across the upper Midwest, while showers will push through the

Gulf of Mexico. The remainder of the southeast will experience clear,
muggy conditions on Sunday.
