After an arctic blast earlier this week, milder air is expected in Detroit for the remainder of the week.
Tuesday's high barely got above freezing. It will be warmer on Wednesday but the daytime high will rise to the upper 30s, still about 12 degrees below normal.

The warmup will start Thursday with partly sunny skies and south-southwesterly breezes. The high will be in the mid-40s.
Rain is possible Sunday and Monday, but daytime highs will be in the mid- to upper 50s both days ahead of another cold surge by the middle of next week.
