There will be a weak to moderate Santa Ana event Monday night into Wednesday through the mountains, passes and canyons. Most gusts will average around 30 mph, but there may be a few gusts up to 50 on the canyons that stretch southwest to northeast.
Although this will not be a particularly strong event, because of the dryness across the area it will still present an increased risk for wildfires.

Each day this week should see sunny skies and dry conditions. Overnight lows will stay in the lower 50s, raising just a few degrees to the upper 50s Wednesday night.
Temperatures will fall back to the low 70s for the start of the weekend.
