Calmer Weather Returns to Seattle

Power restoration efforts continued Sunday in the Seattle area, where a much calmer weather pattern is currently unfolding.
Tens of thousands of customers had been without power for a time over the weekend. The outages were the result as a strong storm system barreled into the Northwest bringing gusts of more than 65 mph.

Below-normal temperatures will start the week in the upper 40s, but wil lthen warm into the upper 50s for the middle and end of the week.
Two weaker storm systems, compared to last week's storm, will bring chances of rain Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday's rain, with some gusty winds, will be steadier than Tuesday's.
Overnight lows for the first part of the week will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s.
