The mid-winter chill that moved into the area this week will be a distant memory by the upcoming weekend.
Afternoon RealFeel® temperatures will soar back into the upper 50s on Friday before reaching the lower 60s this weekend. It will be dry both Friday and Saturday, but clouds will limit sunshine from time to time.
The tranquil weather will compliment walks to nearby parks and restaurants or enjoy outdoor sporting events.
On Sunday, an advancing storm could bring an afternoon shower, but the rain should not be significant enough to warrant canceling outdoor plans. However, an umbrella could be handy.
The same storm will bring a much steadier, wind-driven rain to the city late Sunday night into Monday morning.

Downpours will reduce visibilities for those traveling in and out of the city early Monday morning. In some cases, ponding on roadways may limit lane travel or exit access, especially in low-lying and poor-drainage areas.
