Temperatures will linger in the mid- to upper 40s through Friday, with the threat for showers each day.
Friday evening, overnight temperatures will drop from the 40s to the low 20s, as cold air originating from above the Arctic Circle moves southeastward.
Heading into Saturday, lows will drop even more and overnight temperatures will be in the teens.
A snow shower will be possible Saturday, as the day's high temperature will hover around 30 degrees. This could hinder some of the tornado cleanup for the devastated areas.
