After experiencing a freeze, gusty winds and RealFeel® temperatures in the teens and 20s at midweek, temperatures will rebound to seasonable levels later this week around Boston.
Many folks will be able to hang up the winter coat and get by with a jacket later in the week.
Temperatures are forecast to reach at least 50 degrees Thursday and Friday with a good deal of sunshine. Nighttime low temperatures will swing above freezing.
Gusty winds will be a problem for folks who have to spend time outdoors each day through Thursday. Winds can gust to 40 mph, making it feel much colder than the actual temperature.

By the weekend, afternoon temperatures are forecast to be in the 50s. With much less wind, it will feel much warmer.
Despite the cold weather and even snowflakes flying around the area Tuesday, the next storm system will bring rain and not snow or ice.
