Weak Santa Ana Winds to Develop Tuesday

Weak Santa Ana winds will develop Tuesday night and continue Wednesday across parts of Southern California. The winds will be from the northeast and blowing at 15 to 30 miles per hour. Gusts could reach as high as 40 to 50 miles per hour.
Santa Ana winds are caused by high pressure building south through the Great Basin and usually occur in autumn and winter.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, winds will be cool and cause humidity to drop. The recent rainfall will prevent a strong fire risk.
