Two multi-vehicle crashes occurred this afternoon on I-75 and I-275 near Cincinnati.
According to WKRC Cincinnati, the crashes occurred in the westbound and eastbound lanes of I-275 at Hamilton Avenue and on southbound I-75 between Middletown and Monroe, Ohio, at the 31-mile marker.
Temperatures were in in the low 20s in the area today.
"It looks like the sun came out and heated the road surface before the snow squall moved through, which may have created icy conditions," said AccuWeather.com Expert Senior Meteorologist Henry Margusity.
One woman has been reported killed and dozens injured.
