Fiona Continues to Spin as a Tropical Depression in the Central Atlantic

August 23,2016
Tropical Depression Fiona will likely become a remnant low in the next couple of days, but is not a threat to land.

Current Storm Information
As the forecast path from the National Hurricane Center shows, Fiona (or its remnant low) will continue heading in a general west-northwest direction into the central Atlantic Ocean during the next five days well southwest of Bermuda.
Wind shear and dry air will continue to keep Fiona from strengthening.
