Tropical Storm Georgette Could Be the Next East Pacific Hurricane Soon

Tropical Storm Georgette has formed over the open east Pacific waters. Some strengthening is forecast the next few days.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tropical Storm Georgette was located over 900 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, as of Friday evening.
  • Georgette should continue to quickly strengthen over the next couple of days and could reach hurricane strength on Saturday.
  • This system is no threat to the U.S. mainland or Mexico.
