Tropical Storm Georgette has formed over the open east Pacific waters. Some strengthening is forecast the next few days.

- Tropical Storm Georgette was located over 900 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, as of Friday evening.
- Georgette should continue to quickly strengthen over the next couple of days and could reach hurricane strength on Saturday.
- This system is no threat to the U.S. mainland or Mexico.
