Tropical Storm Frank Expected to Become a Hurricane

Tropical Storm Frank is moving northwestward well off the Pacific coast of Mexico. Frank marks the sixth tropical storm to form in the eastern Pacific this month.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Frank was located over 330 miles west of Manzanillo, Mexico, as of Friday evening.
  • The storm is forecast to strengthen, potentially into a hurricane on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Frank is no threat to the U.S. mainland, but could bring higher waves to the Mexican coast.
