Tropical Storm Estelle Moving Away From Land; Could Become a Hurricane by Tuesday

Estelle is spinning westward well away from land in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system is forecast to become a hurricane, but is no threat to land.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Estelle was located more than 520 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, Mexico, as of Monday afternoon.
  • It is expected to gain enough steam to become a hurricane by Tuesday
  • Estelle poses no threat to any land areas for at least the next five days, if ever.
