Tropical Storm Darby Has Formed and Will Strengthen in the Eastern Pacific Ocean

Tropical Depression Five-E strengthened on Tuesday morning and it is now Tropical Storm Darby.  It is centered well off the west coast of Mexico. Darby may become a hurricane later this week.
This system is no threat to any land areas for at least the next five days.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tropical Storm Darby is located more than 340 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, as of Tuesday morning.
  • Darby will gradually strengthen and it could become a hurricane later this week.
  • Darby is no threat to any land areas at this time for at least the next five days.
