Revelers across Germany will enjoy mild weather for the New Year's celebrations to close out 2015.
Take a look at three hot spots to welcome 2016:
Berlin

Roughly one million people are expected to pack Berlin streets in search of a high-energy atmosphere and top views of the famous fireworks show.
Dazzling lights will erupt from Brandenburg Gate at midnight on 1 January as part of the 2-km-long celebration. As gates open at 14:00 for the festivities along Victory Column and Brandenburg Gate, a high near 5 C (40 F) is expected for evening festivities, still above average for this time of year.
With plenty of live music, laser shows and DJ sets, attendees will be able to take in the full scene without having to worry about rain or chilly conditions. However, rain that falls during the daytime could leave cloudy skies behind, potentially obscuring views of the famed fireworks.
Cologne
Hundreds of thousands of people will descend on Cologne to take in an extravagant New Year's Eve celebration this year.
As fireworks erupt over the city skyline and the Rhine, onlookers will pack bridges and the river bank. For those trying to take in an ideal view, officials suggest getting there early.

With a high expected to hit near 11 C (52 F), those heading out to the city during the day should be able to leave heavy coats at home. Skies could be a bit cloudy in the evening, and some showers may occur across the area during the day.
Munich
Known for its bustling party scene on New Year's, Munich residents and visitors will be able to ring in the New Year with dry, mild conditions.
With dozens of parties and concerts to chose from, fireworks will be the main attraction at midnight.
With a high expected around minus 1 C (30 F), conditions will be dry by the nighttime hours for those hopping from scene to scene.
